Overview
Abarelix Acetate consists of ten amino acids that directly inhibit the metabolism of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and reduce the production of testosterone in the testis. Because of the direct inhibition of LH secretion, blood testosterone concentrations do not rise and then fall. The results show that abarex acetate has a high attraction to rat pituitary LHRH receptors.
Purpose
Abarelix Acetate is not a candidate for luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist therapy. (2) obstruction of urethral canal or bladder outlet due to local injury or metastasis; (3) Severe bone pain caused by tumor bone metastasis requires anesthesia and analgesics.
