Abarelix acetate, as a drug substance polypeptide, reduces intra-testicular testosterone production by directly inhibiting the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Due to the direct inhibition of Chemicalbook secretion by LH, the plasma testosterone concentrations will not increase first and then decrease the phenomenon. The results showed a high affinity of abarek acetate for the rat pituitary LHRH receptors. It is mainly used for scientific research, identification, pharmacological experiments, etc.
